Ski lifts at the ski resort Les Portes du Soleil – Morzine/Avoriaz/Les Gets/Châtel/Morgins/Champéry
In general, most slopes are served by fast four- and six-seater chairlifts. From the valley towns, fast gondolas or chairlifts take you up into the ski area. Of course, there are still many platter lifts, as you might know from France. However, you usually don't have to use these anymore, as you can opt for the modern chairlifts. Except for one exception in Champéry, none of the lifts have weather protection hoods. Les Gets, Avoriaz, Châtel, and Champéry have invested in new and high-performance lifts in recent years. In Morgins, Champoussin, and Torgon, you will still often find older lifts.
