1/1 Vallandry
The new 10-seater gondola lift Vallandry in the Les Arcs ski area replaces the 4-seater chairlift Vallandry. The 10-seater gondola offers higher transport capacity and more comfort. At the new mountain station, there is also a ski depot, a sun terrace, and sanitary facilities. The new installation is equipped with solar panels to generate electricity throughout the year. The heat generated by the engines is also recycled. These new features are part of a broader policy across the entire ski area, aiming for 25% of the ski area's electricity to be generated from local green energy sources by 2030, with Les Arcs set to become fully climate-neutral by 2040.
