The Les 3 Vallées ski resort is exceptionally well-suited for families. There is childcare available from 3 months of age, ski kindergartens, children's ski schools, children's areas, adventure slopes, magic carpets, and toboggan runs. The larger resorts—Les Menuires, Méribel, Courchevel, and Val Thorens—are particularly well equipped. Special attention is given to ensuring that children below a certain height are accompanied by adults on the lifts. Almost all lifts have a "fast lane" for ski schools. The individual resorts in the Les 3 Vallées ski area have also been awarded the "Famille Plus" label by the French tourism authority.

Western Skipark
The Western Skipark in Courchevel-Moriond offers a secluded and easy terrain in the land of Indians and cowboys. Covered conveyor belts provide access to wide slopes with fun figures. Children and families love skiing in the Western atmosphere.
Les Louipiots
The free practice slope with a covered conveyor belt and fun figures is located in Méribel Centre. Here, little ones can practice and have fun in the snow.
Club Piou Piou
The Club Piou Piou is the children's ski course program of the French ski schools ESF for beginners of preschool age (typically 3–5 years, sometimes up to 6–7 years). In the Les 3 Vallées ski area, you will find such child-friendly facilities in most resorts.

Right in Val Thorens, there is a large children's area with covered conveyor belts. Here, little ones can practice their first turns at their own pace on gentle slopes with obstacles. The ski school offers suitable children's courses as well.
