In Les 3 Vallées, the modernization of the lifts is proceeding successively so that it is easy to avoid the t-bar lifts. Most of the lifts are either gondolas or detachable chairlifts, but few of them have weather protectors or seat heaters. There are still some older chairlifts, but these are also on the list to be replaced.
