New 10-seater gondola lift in Courchevel

The 10-seater Praz gondola replaces the 4-seater gondola of the same name in Courchevel. The modern lift system is equipped with state-of-the-art panoramic cabins. The 10-seater gondola reduces the travel time from Courchevel-Le Praz to Courchevel by a quarter and increases the capacity on the route by two and a half times.

The 10-seater Praz gondola runs on a modified lift route. The valley station is located in the newly built “Alpinium,” about 100 meters further east of the old location in Courchevel-Le Praz. The “Alpinium,” a multifunctional building, houses not only the valley station but also ticket offices, sanitary facilities, a media library, an information desk of the tourist office, and 500 parking spaces. The mountain station, with the new construction, is much more centrally located in Courchevel, about 380 meters west of the old lift’s mountain station.
