Praz (YOC 2019)

The 10-seater Praz gondola replaces the 4-seater gondola of the same name in Courchevel. The modern lift system is equipped with state-of-the-art panoramic cabins. The 10-seater gondola shortens the travel time from Courchevel-Le Praz to Courchevel by a quarter and increases the capacity on the route by two and a half times.

The 10-seater Praz gondola runs on a modified lift route. The valley station is located in the newly constructed “Alpinium,” about 100 m further east of the old location in Courchevel-Le Praz. The “Alpinium,” a multifunctional building, houses not only the valley station but also ticket offices, sanitary facilities, a media library, an information desk of the tourist office, and 500 parking spaces. The mountain station, with the new construction, is much more centrally located in Courchevel, around 380 m west of the old lift’s mountain station.
