Les Deux Alpes offers many options for beginners. There are several free ski lifts in the valley as well as a large beginner area along the village. In the Crêtes sector, there is another large area with a covered conveyor belt. In addition, there are numerous slopes labeled "Ski Tranquille" (relaxed skiing), which provide access to almost the entire ski area. Beginners can ride up to the highest point of the ski area and back down on blue slopes.
