No valley run to PredazzoDescription Latemar – Obereggen/Pampeago/Predazzo
You can access the Ski Center Latemar from three locations – Obereggen, Pampeago, and Predazzo. From Obereggen (1550 m), the detachable four-seater chairlift Oberholz takes you up to 2150 m, and the eight-person gondola Ochsenweide leads to the Epircher Laner Hütte. From the four-seater chairlift, a medium-difficulty slope takes you back down, passing the mountain station of the Ochsenweide lift, all the way to the valley.
At the Ochsenweide lift, you can also enjoy night skiing several times a week from 7 pm to 10 pm. An easy slope leads over to the Absam Stube, from where the detachable six-seater chairlift with weather covers, Absam-Meierl, starts. From the top station of the lift, you can ski over to the eight-seater chairlift Reiterjoch. Once at the top of Reiterjoch, you can take an easy and wide slope down to the valley stations of the Obereggen, Campanil, and Pala di Santa lifts, or continue down a medium-difficulty run to Pampeago. The Obereggen chairlift is also home to the Snowpark Obereggen.
Be sure to take the four-seater chairlift Pala di Santa/Zanggen up the mountain of the same name, because from the top at 2500 m you have a magnificent view over the Dolomites. The descent is also impressive, starting wide and easy, then becoming steep.
From Pampeago, you can choose between a 10-person gondola and a detachable four-seater chairlift: either take the Latemar lift to Ganischger Alm or the Monte Agnello lift to Monte Agnello. From both lifts, you can ski down medium-difficulty slopes to the valley stations of the Tresca and Residenza-Passo Feuda lifts.
The detachable four-seater chairlift Tresca leads to medium and difficult runs above the tree line. The other detachable four-seater chairlift takes you up to Passo Feudo, where the detachable four-seater chairlift with weather covers from Gardonè also ends.
In Gardonè, there is another short four-seater chairlift especially for beginners, and you can enjoy a great break at the Baita Gardonè. This is also where the eight-person gondola from Predazzo ends. Unfortunately, there is no valley run down to Predazzo, so in the evening you have to take the gondola back down to the valley.
After skiing, cozy bars and pubs in Obereggen invite you to enjoy some après-ski.
