The ski resort of Krvavec offers very good options for a break from the slopes. Between Tiha Dolina, Gospinca and Kriška Planina, you can find lots of nice mountain huts and restaurants serving Slovenian specialities. The Hotel Krvavec, the highest hotel in Slovenia, is another very good place for a break. In fine weather, there are sun terraces with beautiful views.

EkoTurizem Viženčar

Above Kriška Planina at 1,500 metres

In the rustic EkoTurizem Viženčar ski hut, you can enjoy typical Slovenian specialities such as obara (stew) and zganci (spelt with pork crackling). On cold days, you can warm up at the open fire in the dining rooms and in fine weather you can sit on the large sun terrace.

The Hotel Rozka serves home-style cooking and regional specialities. The view from the sun terrace is highly recommended.
