The Kläppen ski resort is located in the province of Dalarna in the municipality of Sälen. It is situated about 400 km northwest of Stockholm. The nearest major highways are relatively far away, and the ski resort and the town of Sälen are reached via scenic roads. From the town of Sälen, it is about 15 kilometers to the Kläppen ski resort. Parking is available at the valley station or the mid-station of the gondola lift. It is recommended to park at the mid-station and enter the ski area from there.
