The Jennerbahn starts south of Berchtesgaden in Schönau am Königssee. The Jenner can be reached quickly (approx. 20 minutes) via the Austrian Tauern Autobahn A10, exit Grödig/Salzburg-Süd. If you are coming from the Munich/Rosenheim area, you can also leave the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway at the Bad Reichenhall exit and then drive about 30 minutes on country roads to the Jenner. This way, you avoid the Austrian motorway. The large Königssee car park is paved and free of charge, but there is a fee during Bavarian school holidays. The car park is about 200 meters from the Jennerbahn valley station. Disabled parking spaces and an e-charging station are located directly at the valley station.
