Ski run to Bischofswiesen without lift connectionDescription Götschen – Bischofswiesen
From Bischofswiesen, a steep and winding but well-maintained road leads up to the ski area at Götschen. The Götschenkopf triple chairlift takes you directly to the mountain of the same name and is accompanied for just over half its length by a curved drag lift. The lower section of the intermediate FIS downhill run from Götschenkopf (parallel to the triple chairlift) often hosts international races. This is because Götschen is also a DSV National Training Center for Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding.
Another easy run, the Familienabfahrt, also leads down to the valley. About halfway down the Familienabfahrt, you can branch off onto a challenging forest run that takes you all the way down to Bischofswiesen. However, you cannot return to the ski area from the end of this run. You can only take this run if you are picked up in Bischofswiesen.
The slopes at Götschen are very well groomed, and everyone can find a run to suit them. In the lower area, near the valley station, there is also a snow park and another short drag lift running parallel to the curved drag lift.
On the other side of the road is the Kollerlift, which is especially suitable for beginners. For refreshments, there is only the cozy Götschenalm at the valley station. Another highlight is night skiing.
