The Geilo ski resort is one of the larger ski areas in Norway. It stretches on both sides of the town of the same name. The two sides are connected by a ski bus. The slopes in the Vestlia area extend from Kikut via Kikuttoppen (1076 m) and Bjødnahovda (1056 m) to Vestlia. The slopes in the Geilosiden area lead from Halstensgård via Gullsteinhovda (1109 m), Geilohovda (1080 m), Slaatta, Havsdalen up to the highest point in the ski area at Havdalshovda (1178 m).
