The ski resort is located in the Telemark region and can be reached from Oslo in just over 2.5 hours. From the town of Rjukan, a mountain road leads up to the ski lifts. Parking is free of charge.

Winter Closure
The road Fv651 from Gaustablikk to Tuddal (direct connection to the E134 Drammen-Haugesund) is closed in winter.
