The 10-seater gondola lift with a mid-station replaces the 50-year-old aerial tramway from Cortina d'Ampezzo up to Col Drusciè. In addition, the old double chairlift from Colfiere to Col Drusciè is also being replaced. The new gondola lift will feature a mid-station in Colfiere. This means that waiting times at the cable car in Cortina d'Ampezzo are now a thing of the past. The transport capacity increases from 675 people per hour to 1,800 people per hour.
