The ski area at Clemensberg near Hildfeld was closed in 2016. The ascent is still tackled on foot by the intrepid (mostly sledders). Skiing, snowboarding, and sledding are thus possible without a groomed slope and ski lift. The Clemensberghütte at the former Clemensberg winter sports area remains in operation.
