Environmental protection of the ski resort Brauneck – Lenggries/Wegscheid

All facilities of the Brauneck Bergbahnen operate with green electricity and are therefore CO2-neutral. Great importance is placed on public transport and the rail connection with the BOB (Bayerische Oberlandbahn). The BOB combination ticket between Munich and Lenggries is the perfect environmentally friendly way to travel. In addition to the round-trip train journey and the bus transfer from the station to the ski area, it also includes the day ski pass. As a compensatory measure for the construction of the Garland reservoir pond, Brauneck Bergbahn clears the gravel banks of the Isar of shrubs and trees. In this way, 12 hectares of biotope area have been restored.
