Environmental protection of the ski resort Big White

The Big White ski resort is highly committed to preserving the environment and minimizing the impact of its facilities on nature. Flora and fauna are protected, among other measures. Snow cannons are only used when absolutely necessary to protect the grass cover. Slopes are only opened when there is sufficient snow. If you stay overnight in Big White, you don't need a car, as the upper and lower areas are connected by Lara's Gondola.
