No easy valley run for beginnersDescription Belpiano (Schöneben)/Malga San Valentino (Haideralm)
In the village of Reschen, located near the Reschen Pass, the road branches off towards the Schöneben valley station and winds along Lake Reschen to the spacious parking lots right next to the gondola lift. The six-person gondola takes you through the forest up to 2,100 m. Up here, the two modern six-seater chairlifts Jochbahn and Fraitenbahn whisk you up towards Zehner. These lifts provide access to beautiful, wide, and easy slopes, ideal for beginners.
Highly recommended are the Snowpark and the Funline Schöneben, which are sure to delight all snowboarders and freeriders. Children will have a great time on the Funslope.
From the mountain stations of the two six-seater chairlifts, perfectly groomed slopes lead down into the Rojen Valley. Here, the detachable four-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods Rojen and the three-seater chairlift Zwölferkopf start. The Zwölferkopf lift takes you to more challenging slopes, and here you will also find the "Schihütte Rojen," a very cozy, small hut where you can recharge.
The only way back from the Rojen Valley is with the four-seater chairlift Rojen. From the top station of the Rojen lift, you can reach every lift in the Schöneben ski area. Via the Höllental run, you head towards Haideralm. From the mid-station, you need to take the connecting lift to St. Valentin.
From St. Valentin, the six-person gondola takes you up to Haideralm. At Haideralm, there is a conveyor belt and the Valatsch practice lift. A very nice intermediate slope leads back down to St. Valentin. You can return to Schöneben with the modern 10-person gondolas St. Valentin-Schöneben and Höllental.
For refreshments, there is the self-service restaurant Schöneben with a nice outdoor bar, the Schihütte Rojen, or the Schöneben Schihaus. Slightly below, almost at the same level as the entrance to the Jochbahn six-seater chairlift, you will find the "Einkehrschwung." In the valley, there is also the Sciuri Schöneben. On the Haideralm, the Berghaus Haideralm and the Gasthof Plagött await you.
Another platter lift, the Pofellift, is located directly at the Reschen Pass on the outskirts of Reschen. This is also where the cross-country trails start.
