The Aussois ski area covers the slopes below the Dent Parrachée (3,697 m) on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. Chairlifts and drag lifts take guests up to around 2,700 m. Most of the runs lead through treeless terrain. Numerous activities such as cross-country ski trails, snowshoe hiking routes, and dog sledding tours provide variety in the Aussois winter sports area.
