For skiing and snowboarding, there are 27 km of slopes available. 9 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,650 and 3,030 m.
Known as the Pearl of the North Caucasus, Arkhyz (Arhyz Resort), located in the Abishira-Akhuba mountains, offers its own perfect mountain climate with legendary mineral springs, glaciers, and historic towns. The ski resort was completely reopened in 2013 with 2 new lifts. Up to 270 km of slopes and 54 ski lifts are planned for the resort.
