At the Aktivzentrum Bretterschachten, cross-country skiers can look forward to an excellently groomed and extensive network of trails. With a total of 114 kilometers, it is one of the most important and snow-sure cross-country skiing areas in the Bavarian Forest. Bretterschachten is located about 7 km from the Arber ski area.
