New winter hiking trail at Großer Arber

Starting this winter season, there is a newly created winter hiking trail that leads from Thurnhofhang (ArBär-Kinderland) to Arberstadl (6-seater Sonnenhangbahn).

Trail information:
Length: approximately 2 kilometers
Starting point: at Thurnhofhang by the toboggan run
End point: Arberstadl (6-seater Sonnenhangbahn)
Difficulty level: easy

Route description:
The trail starts to the right at the end of the toboggan run at Thurnhofhang and runs parallel to the toboggan run through the snowy winter forest on the Großer Arber.

Expansion of the ArBär-Kinderland and a new Zwergenland

New 126 m long magic carpet!
This new magic carpet provides access to two new slopes in the ArBär-Kinderland. Additionally, a new "Zwergenland" has been created including a magic carpet.

ArBär-sicher & fair (safe & fair)

Values-conscious behavior for a perfect winter sports experience on the ArberThe ARBER-BERGBAHN lift company has developed a completely new training concept for the children: "ArBär - sicher & fair", thanks to the expert pedagogical support of the ski schools. During ski school instruction, participants will be taught about safety and fairness on the ski slopes while learning to ski. The 10 FIS rules will be taught intensively and demonstrated on the slopes. And the children can win prizes: there are bronze, silver and gold medals as well as certificates to be won if the children pass the ArBär test at the end of the ski course.If a child has won a bronze medal, he or she will surely want to achieve the silver or gold medal the following year. During the awards ceremony, an anthem is played - just like during the Olympics.
