On the Seiser Alm, there are many accommodation options located directly on the slopes. The largest high alpine pasture in Europe boasts excellent hotels. Compatsch on the Seiser Alm is a well-developed tourist area. There are additional accommodations around Saltria. Guests staying directly on the Seiser Alm receive a special driving permit, as access for private vehicles is closed between 9 am and 5 pm. Further accommodations can be found in the valley. Access to the Seiser Alm is then by cable car from Seis am Schlern and St. Ulrich in Gröden.
