    In Alpe d'Huez, skiers are transported through the ski area by numerous gondolas and chairlifts. Some of them are very modern. However, older lifts are also in very good condition and quite comfortable. In the valleys, a few drag lifts still serve purely as practice lifts. These are no longer needed to access the entire ski area.
