The evaluation is done as follows

Beginners Alagna Valsesia/Gressoney-La-Trinité/Champoluc/Frachey (Monterosa Ski)

The valley runs are all marked red. However, not everything that appears deep red on the piste map is actually that challenging. Both the slopes at Colle Bettaforca and Passo Salati are rather gentle in character, and the excellent piste grooming makes things even easier. The valley run down to Gressoney-la-Trinité is also easily manageable for less experienced skiers. Longer blue runs can be found at Cimalegna (Alagna) and Mont Ros – which is why the associated lifts, the Alpe Mandria chairlift and the Funifor Cimalegna - Passo dei Salati, are particularly popular.
