High above the Puster Valley in the sunny village of Meransen, the Unterkircher family warmly welcomes you to an unforgettable holiday in South Tyrol at Pension Sonnenhof. Our guesthouse is situated at an altitude of 1,400 meters on a sunny slope near the village center and right in the heart of the Gitschberg Jochtal ski and alpine region.

The breathtaking panoramic view from our sun terrace stretches from the green mountain slopes of the Puster Valley to the bright limestone peaks of the Dolomites. Meransen is dominated by the 2,510-meter-high Gitschberg. On the summit of the mountain, there is a panoramic platform where you can enjoy a fantastic view of 500 Alpine peaks.

From the breakfast table straight into your ski boots and onto the slopes – Pension Sonnenhof is located in the immediate vicinity of the valley station of the Gitschberg Jochtal ski and alpine region. The first ski slope is just 100 meters away, and the free ski bus stops only 50 meters from the house, taking you to the valley station of the Gitschberg ski area in just 2 minutes.

Since summer 2020, with elevator, 2 Sky Suites, and all rooms with new beds against a solid stone pine wall.
