The Arosea Life Balance Hotel opened in December 2007 and is located with great attention to detail in South Tyrol’s Ultental, directly on the "großer Stausee" and the "kleiner Hotelsee". Here you can truly enjoy the mountains—mass tourism is nowhere to be found. The atmosphere is very homely and of a high standard, as this family-run hotel is also child-friendly, offering a playroom near the restaurant area and many other activities for children. Here, quality is not just a nice marketing word, but an attitude shared by the hotel management and the entire Arosea team. Dishes at the buffet are sorted according to "organic", "regional & alpine", and "conventional".

The Arosea Life Balance Hotel is located in the beautiful Ultental valley in Kuppelwies by the lake. It’s just a 2-minute drive to the Schwemmalmbahn valley station. However, the complimentary hotel shuttle is happy to take guests the short distance to the valley station. The hotel features extensive woodwork, and even the entire facade is made of wood. All good things take time, and in a few years, the Arosea will acquire the wonderful dark hue of the traditional Ultental farmhouses.

Upon arrival, the fire crackles in the fireplace and the scent of Swiss pine fills the air. The hotel has been awarded the Eco Level Platinum by Tripadvisor. Luxury and sustainability are not mutually exclusive here.

Your day begins with a balanced breakfast. The generous buffet offers everything you could wish for, from egg dishes to freshly squeezed orange juice. Most of the food comes from regional farms practicing organic agriculture.

In the cozy, original parlors furnished with wood from the South Tyrolean valleys, you can enjoy an excellent evening menu. The meal starts with an Ultental organic bread buffet, accompanied by homemade butter and herb quark spreads. Next is an alpine, organic, and conventional salad and vegetable buffet. The main courses and desserts leave nothing to be desired.

Whether you want to experience nature or simply relax, this hotel offers everything: a spacious, modern sauna area with relaxation rooms, the Rosarium with massages and baths, indoor and outdoor pools, and truly stunning surroundings.

The rooms are designed with plenty of wood and an open layout, featuring a balcony, walk-in closet, drinking fountain, and magnificent mountain views.

At the end of January and the beginning of February, you’ll often meet the Swiss or Canadian national teams. Famous ski stars, such as Lindsey Vonn, also stay at the Arosea. The Schwemmalm ski area is right on the doorstep.

The Arosea team is very attentive and extremely friendly. The team’s high motivation is clearly noticeable, making your stay even more relaxing. Your car is safely parked in the underground garage, where it can remain for your entire holiday.
