From the Kananaskis Highway you take the street up to the ski resort Nakiska, near Kananaskis Village, a small village with only two hotels. From the base station you can take one of the two high speed detachable quads, Silver Chair or Olympic Chair, up to the mountain. Now you can ski or ride down to the Gold Chair Express, a high speed quad, which takes you up to the highest point in the ski resort, 2260m. Here at the top is an old t-bar, build only for the Olympic Games, but it is the most time out of service. From the top you can ski or ride most difficult runs down, but there is also a easy way down and from the easy way you can go tree skiing on a gladed area. Don´t forget to enjoy the nice view to the Canadian Rockies and Kananaskis Country. From the base station of the triple chair, the runs are only more difficult and easy. There is a slow skiing area down to the double chair Bronze, which is a lift especially for beginners. Near the base station is the ski school with another rope tow, where you can learn skiing or boarding. At this ski resort you can´t ski through the trees (exept the gladed runs at the top), because they are all very close together, but you have very well groomed runs. For lunch you can go to the base station or the the Mid Mountain Lodge, at the top of the Olympic quad.
