The ski resort Vemdalen consists of the four ski resorts Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet, Klövsjö and Storhogna. From the village Vemdalen you reach Björnrike after scarcely 10 km travel as nearest area. Eight t-bars serve the three mountains Grahogna, Mellanryggen and Blästerfjället. The runs are mostly intermediate and lead through forest aisles back to the valley. About 15 km von Vemdalen, direction Klövsjö, the ski resort Vemdalsskalet is located at a pass (Skalpasset). To the left and right side of the road t-bars, a six person chair and a quad chair lead up to the mountains. Slopes from easy to advanced are here present and lead in the top across wide ski space, further down through forest aisles and the two sides are well connected by a ski bridge. Advanced skier or rider prefer the steep runs at the quad and for beginners are some t-bars near the Hoegfjaellshotell, which serves easy runs. The ski resort Klövsjö, which is connected with Storhogna, is approx. 30 km from Vemdalen. A triple chair lift leads from Klövsjö up to the mountain and serves three advanced, two intermediate and an easy run. In connection to it two t-bars open wide and easy runs, there is also a funpark for rider located. To Storhogna you have to take the t-bar Solliften a short piece over the hilltop and then you can ski or ride down a very easy slope. With the t-bar Tunnelliften you under-cross the road to Storhogna and arrive then with the t-bar Fjälliften and an easy run in Storhogna. In Storhogna are two exercise t-bars and a t-bar completely up to the summit, which opens easy to intermediate runs and as connecting lift from Storhogna to Klövsjö. With the very long t-bar Solliften you can then go back again into the area from Klövsjö, where near the parking lots are two more t-bars, especially for beginners are located...
