There is a large, worn-in self-service restaurant and a snack bar at the base station as well as the hut, which is only sporadically open, up on the Hunau - that's the extent of the gastronomical offering.

Rustic decor, open fire, hearty homemade dishes (sausages, Schnitzel, green cabbage, soups, french fries, potato salad) and cakes including the tasty Huettenstrudel can be purchased at the self-service counter. The drink counter is separate.
