    The cross-country skiing center at Whitewater is located at around 1,650 meters, just before the parking lot of the Base Lodge. It offers groomed trails (classic and skating) in varied terrain. You can also take lessons and rent equipment here.

    Additionally, there is the Nelson Nordic Ski Club on Highway 6, right at the turnoff to the ski area. Here, you’ll find another 30 km of trails. The Apex trail is illuminated daily during the season until 11 pm. These trails are only 10 minutes from Nelson, and a fee is required for their use.
