The Watles ski area is located below the Reschen Pass on the Italian side in South Tyrol, in the Upper Vinschgau. You can reach it from the north via the Upper Inn Valley (Reschen exit of the Inn Valley motorway) and the Reschen Pass, or from the south via Merano and through the Vinschgau (Bolzano South exit of the Brenner-Verona motorway). From Mals, a mountain road leads up to the ski area. There are plenty of free parking spaces available directly at the valley station in Prämajur.
