The Vemdalsskalet ski resort is located in the province of Jämtland. The nearest major highways are relatively far away, and the Vemdalsskalet ski resort can be reached from the town of Vemdalen via a scenic mountain pass road. Free parking is available at all valley stations of the chairlifts. Unfortunately, the parking lots are not paved, and during thawing conditions, vehicles may sink slightly into the gravel areas.
