Access, Parking Vals – Dachberg
The Vals ski area is located in the Valsertal and is best reached in winter via the greater Chur area. From the Reichenau/Disentis exit of the A13 St. Margrethen-Bellinzona motorway, a well-developed road leads through the valley to Ilanz and then a mountain road to the mountain village of Vals. At the end of Vals, the gondola lift to the ski area starts. Parking is free with the purchase of a ski pass.

Ideal entry for day visitors
- Distance: 44 km
- approx. 53 Minutes driving time
Roads: Main street, Side road, Mountain road, well-developed, with significant incline
Parking spaces: usually enough available, gravel car park, free of charge

Winter Closure
The Oberalp Pass (Andermatt-Sedrun) is closed for winter. There is limited car shuttle service from Andermatt to Sedrun.
