The Schilthorn is located in the Jungfrau Region in the Bernese Oberland near Interlaken. From the A8 motorway, exit Wilderswil/Interlaken, a well-developed road leads to Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg. After about 20 minutes’ drive, you reach Stechelberg, the main entry point to the ski area. In Stechelberg, there are over 1,500 paid parking spaces. Cable cars take guests in about 30 minutes (if there are no waiting times) over the car-free village of Mürren in 4 sections directly to the summit of the Schilthorn. An alternative entry point is Lauterbrunnen. A cable car leads to Grütschalp. From there, a narrow-gauge railway continues to the Winteregg chairlift into the ski area. There is a snow-covered valley run leading to Lauterbrunnen. There is no valley run to Stechelberg.
