Free ski buses are promoted in Val di Sole, making it easy to reach Passo del Tonale from the villages. Ski buses also operate in Ponte di Legno and Temù. During the summer months, the glacier is covered. In winter, snowmaking is also used there to protect the ice. Many local products are used.
