Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Marmot Basin – Jasper
Advanced skiers are well catered for in the Marmot Basin ski area. Several challenging runs can be found at the Eagle Ridge Quad Chair and the Paradise Quad Chair. In the Eagle East area, a dozen extremely difficult trails (Double Diamonds) await. The Knob Chair double chairlift serves almost exclusively difficult runs, with only one exception. From the top station of the Knob Chair, you can hike another 202 vertical meters up to Marmot Peak at 2,612 m and then enjoy almost untouched slopes on your descent.
