Environmental protection of the ski resort Madrisa (Davos Klosters)

Sustainability at the Madrisa ski area is exemplary. Starting from the 2025/26 winter season, Madrisa Bergbahnen will be able to fully power all operations with solar energy. The electricity is supplied by a very large alpine solar installation in the Zügä area, as well as photovoltaic systems at various locations on Madrisa. Klosters Dorf railway station is only about 200 meters from the valley station, making it especially easy to arrive by train. Local mobility without a car is also actively promoted. In addition, there are designated wildlife protection zones, and winter sports enthusiasts are informed about nature conservation.

Public transportation/on-site mobility

  • Train connection
From Klosters Dorf train station, it is a 3-minute walk to the Madrisa valley station.
  • Comprehensive ski bus network
  • Scheduled buses
  • The Madrisa bus shuttles between the valley station and Klosters Platz. The Ortsbus Klosters stop and Klosters Dorf train station are within walking distance. Ski pass holders can use the Davos and Klosters-Serneus bus network and the railway line between Küblis and Filisur free of charge.
