For children and beginners, there is now a dedicated lift and practice slope for skiing. The Macesnovc Rateče ski area is complemented by several picturesque cross-country trails that lead all the way to the Planica district. Known primarily as a winter sports destination for ski flying, several world records have already been set in Planica.
