The Les Orres ski resort is taking a step into the future. With the new Pic Vert lift, the first D-Line type installation from Doppelmayr is being built. The 6-seater chairlift features D-Line Premium seats.
With the 6-seater Pic Vert chairlift, the area above Les Orres 1650 is being restructured. It replaces a total of three lift installations, each with more than 30 years of operation: the platter lift Pic Vert, the 2-seater chairlift Bois Long, and the 3-seater chairlift Grand Clos.
The chairlift will also be used in summer to transport pedestrians and mountain bikers. It is also suitable for use by people with reduced mobility. In the interest of sustainable and environmentally friendly operation, the station buildings are equipped with solar panels. The waste heat from the motor is also used: it heats the toilets.
