The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry (Paradiski)
Experienced skiers will find plenty of challenges in Les Arcs. Whether it's steep and long slopes, mogul fields, or ski routes – the selection is extensive. Large sections of the black runs are designated as Natur' pistes – they are not groomed. In addition to the regular slopes, there is also plenty of space for detours into easily accessible powder snow. The most difficult slopes are located below the Varet gondola. The three runs Lanches, Dou de l'Homme, and Crêtes actually form one long mogul field. You can conveniently choose your own route from the gondola. From the start all the way down to Arc 2000, there is no way to exit the moguls. As a result, only a few mogul novices venture onto the slope, so you can enjoy a free choice of line.
- very many freeride/deep snow areas
- very many mogul slopes
Total
| Difficult | 26 km (13 %) |
- Lanches, Crêtes, Dou de l'Homme · Length 2 km · Elevation difference 550 m
The three black runs below the Varet gondola are for absolute experts. All three are steep, ungroomed, and extremely bumpy; Lanches is also a bit less frequented and often still has a soft layer of snow. The terrain is clearly visible from the gondola, so everyone can carefully consider whether to tackle the slope or rather choose the red alternative.
General note: Always mind the avalanche warnings and barriers, please. Never ski into a closed and unsecured area.
