Test result

4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental protection of the ski resort Les 3 Vallées – Val Thorens/Les Menuires/Méribel/Courchevel

In the Les 3 Vallées ski area, there is a clear awareness that success depends on an intact natural environment. The high altitude allows for a measured use of artificial snow production. With the acquisition of the first resource-efficient diesel-electric grooming machines, the next step is already underway. Strict monitoring ensures respect for the boundary of the adjacent Plan de Tueda nature park.

  • Scheduled buses
  • There are ski buses in the individual valleys. A ski bus connection between the valleys is not available. There are (paid) shuttle buses from the airports of Geneva, Chambéry, Lyon, and Grenoble.
