THE “FACE NORD” GONDOLA
Val Thorens is introducing a brand new 10-seater
gondola from manufacturer Doppelmayr called
"Face Nord". This state-of-the-art lift replaces the
old Glacier and Col chairlifts which were dismantled
in recent years, and is part of a broader strategy to
improve skier flow throughout the entire ski area.
Providing direct access to the Asters and Face Nord
slopes, it also creates a key link to the Orelle sector via
the Lory blue run – an accessible route for
