For skiing and snowboarding, there are 90 km of slopes available. 25 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,000 and 2,100 m.
The Le Grand Bornand ski resort is located mainly on the slopes of Mont Lachat (2,100 m). The ski and snowboard runs are largely situated on alpine meadows and in treeless terrain. The winter sports area near Annecy is also known for its cross-country skiing and biathlon facilities. In addition, there are toboggan runs, snowshoe trails, and winter hiking paths.
