The extensive ski area of Laax offers everything winter sports enthusiasts could wish for, from glacier runs to forest trail slopes. 70% of the slopes are situated above 2,000 meters, on treeless hillsides and rocky terrain. Easy and wide slopes lead from Vorab to Plaun. From Crap Sogn Gion, intermediate to difficult slopes descend to Plaun and down to the valley to Laax. Falera can be reached via an easy valley run. Flims is accessible via easy and intermediate forest runs. Lavadinas can be reached via the challenging Sattel run from Vorab through a pristine valley. In general, the slopes in the Laax ski area are wide and well-groomed. The many freeride opportunities and challenging slopes are especially popular among advanced skiers.
