Environmental protection of the ski resort Laax/Flims/Falera

The sustainable use of natural resources is part of the corporate principles of the Weissen Arena Group (mountain railway operator). The environmental label is called Greenstyle. Renewable energy sources are used, including wind power. The six-seater chairlift Alp Dado meets its electricity needs with its own photovoltaic system. In addition to complying with legal regulations for emission values, all piste machines are also equipped with particle filters. There are many recycling stations for waste throughout the ski area. Unfortunately, some ski huts still use disposable bottles and tableware.
