Description Jakobshorn (Davos Klosters)

The second largest ski area in the Davos Klosters Mountains region is Jakobshorn. It is located mostly above the tree line. From Davos Platz, you can either take the Jakobshorn cable cars in two sections via Jschalp directly up to Jakobshorn, or use the detachable double chairlift Carjöl-Fuxägufer and the detachable four-seater chairlift Usser Isch to reach just below Jakobshorn.

Via pleasantly sloped, wide runs, you can access the detachable six-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods Clavadeler Bubble or the detachable four-seater chairlift Jatz-Quattro. From the top station of the Clavadeler Bubble, a small gondola lift also takes you up to Jakobshorn at 2,590 meters.

From up here, you can take the challenging run No. 5 below the aerial tramway to the mid-station, or follow a ski route back to the chairlifts. From the mid-station, the Brämabüel-Express heads uphill. In the upper section, there is a difficult slope and an easy slope.

Jakobshorn is particularly suitable for off-piste skiing. There are two easy valley runs down to Davos: one from Clavadeler Alp and another very easy run, which leads down to the valley from Jschalp via a narrow and long ski route.

Jakobshorn is also very popular in the snowpark scene. At the top of the ski area, you’ll find the attractive Jatz-Park, and at the valley station, the Superpipe at Bolgen and the JatzKidsPark.

In the afternoon, you can already start après-ski at the Jatzhütte at the top of the ski area. After skiing and snowboarding, Bolgen Plaza and Chalet After 7 also invite you to enjoy après-ski.
