The ski resort of Hoch-Ybrig is very concerned about the environment. The slopes are opened only if snow coverage allows. The valley runs are located in nature conservation zones with areas of high and low moorland with national protection status. No artificial snow-making is therefore possible here. Access to forest areas is prohibited.
