Due to its expanse across the six sectors of Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig, and Pas de la Casa, skiers and snowboarders have endless variations to choose from. The majority of the slopes are easy and intermediate. Several black slopes are spread throughout the ski area, and numerous freeride zones are designated. Most of the slopes are located above or at the tree line, with some forest runs leading down to the valley stations.
