Access, Parking Grand Tourmalet/Pic du Midi – La Mongie/Barèges
The ski resort is located southeast of Lourdes and Tarbes in the French Pyrenees. Access is either via La Mongie at 1,800 m or Barèges (entry at Tournaboup 1,450 m). A mountain road with a steep incline leads to La Mongie. It is important to note that the Col du Tourmalet mountain pass between La Mongie (1,800 m) and Tournaboup (1,450 m)/Barèges is closed in winter. During winter, the ski area runs through here, and a ski slope crosses the highest point of the pass. The French motorway A64 La Pyrénéenne is about 40 km away.
